Learning Disabilities and Autism

Learning disability and Autism support in your own home

We offer specialist support at home for children or adults living with a learning disability or Autism.

Learning disabilities are lifelong conditions diagnosed in childhood. Around 4 in 10 autistic people have a learning disability.

We understand that learning disability affects people in different ways.

Our learning disability care is particularly focused on supporting your loved one in these areas:

  • Nothing about you without you

We make sure that, as much as possible that the client, and those who know them best are involved

and at the centre of the support process, right from the beginning.

  • Independence and confidence

Your loved one’s carer will help them to enjoy their favourite activities, routines and hobbies, and be a source of positivity in everything they do

  • Personal development

A carer can support your loved one to develop communication skills and social skills, as well as helping them in the workplace or in education

  • Health and well-being

Having a carer means your loved one will have someone alongside them to help them exercise, eat healthily, and look after themselves properly

We are very committed to making sure that we recruit the right people for the right roles to make sure we provide "the RIGHT CARE, the RIGHT PEOPLE and the RIGHT CULTURE". We value the input from clients and those who know them best
