Paediatric Care

We understand that when a child is unwell that life can be overwhelming and stressful. We are committed to making sure you have the right people, the right care and the right support to make a difference to the child and the family as a whole.

We work collaboratively with the people who know the child best and involve the child as much as possible to make sure the care and support reflects not just their clinical needs, but the emotional, developmental and social needs. We support children with a range of complex needs, for example; cerebral palsy, severe genetic conditions, spina bifida, brain injuryspinal injury, Down’s syndrome, hydrocephalus, and congenital conditions.

Our Promises

  • We will keep the child at the centre of everything we do – building comprehensive support, tailored to their needs, and that can grow with them as they change and develop.

  • Transitions into adulthood are planned and well supported

  • We work together with the families we support to provide a service that is family-focused, meaning our young clients can enjoy a life lived at home where they belong, and participate fully in ordinary family life.

  • We’re flexible in our approach, offering support that is built around the family routine; that includes flexing our support between term time and school holidays, and even accompanying our clients on holiday when required.

  • All of our care assistants undergo comprehensive, industry leading training as part of their induction, reinforced by client and child specific, nurse-led training in the home, so you can be sure that your child is receiving the best possible care.

  • We make sure to introduce all team members to you and your child before they begin working in your home.

  • We continually reassess our clients to make sure that our care is reflective of their needs.

  • Our carers are recruited for their values, experiences and potential, as well as, existing skill sets.

We can support you and your child with needs ranging from social, behavioural to high clinical dependency needs such as;
